This 56-page anthology includes fiction, art, TTRPGs, and more all centered around the theme of "Unsettling Horror!" 30+ contributors helped make this an absolutely killer launch issue.
I acted as Editor-in-Chief for Dead Horse, overseeing submission selection, editing all of the selected pieces, and helping shape the overall project alongside the folks at Disaster Tourism (who did layout and overall publishing/financials)!
Pre-ordering a print copy not only gets you a premium, glossy, B5-sized magazine but also gets you access to the digital edition early (and for free)!
Things I really like about Dead Horse as a writer/creator:
We don't own any of the submitted works (just a license to print it for this issue) so everyone is free to replicate and use their work elsewhere in the future!
We are profit sharing this (and every) issue. An accepted piece gets you a share, and we split the profits across the entire team!
This means that every copy sold helps to support the creation of more issues in the future AND helps support all of the contributors!
