Having my own store has already been very empowering and has enabled me to do business differently (like the recent pre-order campaign for MCGW Annual #1) and in ways that directly support me (something that is important to me when I’m buying from other indie creators). Simply put, it rules.
The shop itself is built on Shopify (like many other indie creator stores out there) so you likely already know how to navigate it, have an account, etc. so even though it’s a standalone shop it likely won’t require a ton of new sign-ups and information on your part which is always a plus.
I am hoping to use the store in the future, outside of more standard releases, to allow me to do more fun and creative releases like a possible Tacticians of Ahm - Alpha Access print run (around the time it comes to itchfunding in the next month or so).
This is likely the biggest sale I will be doing until my next physical release (which is still several months away) so definitely take advantage if you are interested!
